Shanette Izadi, LCSW
Hello! My name is Shanette Izadi, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with seven years of experience in the mental health field. Outside of private practice, I work as an Educational Social Worker for a high school district. My clients typically have concerns in the following areas: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, behavioral issues, ADHD, loss/grief, acute stress, adjustment to life transitions, women’s issues, relationship difficulties, generational trauma, cultural issues, and work stress. You can expect support, compassion, empathy, and sensitivity during our time together.
I utilize various evidence-based practices to help clients meet their individualized treatment goals. Some of these include biblical counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Treatment, and TF-CBT.
I aim to create an environment of reality, honesty, and compassion. My approach is very relaxed, and I strive to match your interaction style to increase your comfort and trust in working together.

Bruce Izadi, LMFT
Hello, I am Bruce. I have been working as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2013 and have worked with many different populations. My most common approach is DBT, the SPIRE model, and Motivational Interviewing, but I like to use different approaches based on (1) the client's needs and (2) the stage of therapy. I believe it's best to start off with Motivational Interviewing to develop a rapport and assess the client's preferences or goals. From there I can use DBT, the SPIRE model, CBT, or Solution Focused.
I prefer working with adults. I have extensive experience working with couples, veterans, parolees, and the formerly transient population. My favorite populations are couples counseling and clients looking for introspection. I have always wanted to work with the brokenhearted, but I find this population to be uncommon.
I tend to do a lot of code-switching. I like praising people for their strengths and externalizing their challenges. I often propose scenarios or tell stories in an effort to see if they resonate with the client. I tend to describe feelings and situations with empathy as if I am sharing in the experience

I am a mother of seven and a wife of 25 years. Raising my seven children has taught me empathy and understanding. I love working with people and matching incoming clients with therapists who match their particular styles.
